Studententreffen at EMTC2022
The European Music Therapy Confederation (EMTC) - students meeting will be held at the Queen Margaret University (QMU), Edinburgh (UK), on June 6th 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm (UK time). This event is part of the 12th European Music Therapy Conference as a pre-conference event. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format (face-to-face and online modalities). Programme
10am - opening ceremony - some basic considerations about the EMTC students action theme and presenting an overview about the meeting.
10:20 - opening lecture with the keynote speaker Kinga Majchrzak. She is the Student Delegate for Europe in the World Federation of Music Therapy.
11:20- First round of working groups- the idea is to split the students in different groups to know more about each other and raise important topics for the students music therapy community.
Noon - lunch time
1 pm - time to share the discussions in the small groups
1: 30 pm - second lecture with the keynote speakers Amanda Haar (Denmark)
Friederike Kinne (Austria) who will share their experiences on student music therapy organisations in Europe.
2:30 pm - second round of working groups- the idea is to split the students in different groups to know more about each other and raise important topics for the students music therapy community.
3:10 pm - break
- 20 - second time to share the discussions in the small groups
3.50 - closing moment of the EMTC students meeting
